If you are struggling for space or time, the Van It service from Skoup is the ideal skip alternative for your waste needs. Let us know what you want taken away and we will do all the lifting and carrying for you. Our Vans can take as much waste as any of our skips; they are ideal where you do not have space for a skip. To minimise the waste sent to landfills, there are a few items and materials that should not be put on a van.

What can you put on a Van?

You can put in your Van the following: furniture, whitegoods, bric-a-brac, general rubbish, recycling, kitchenware and appliances*, mattresses*, garden waste, waste electronical and electronic equipment (WEEE)*, offcuts of ceramic, wood and metal, tyres* and tools.

Starting in April, we will be able to take household microwaves, however, any industrial microwaves or industrial/ commercial WEEE remain forbidden.

What can you not put on a Van?

The following items cannot be disposed of in a van: hazardous or clinical waste, sharp items including knives or needles, liquids, oils or oil soaked materials, solvent based paint cans, spray cans or pressurised containers, weapons or explosives, microwave, lithium ion batteries, vehicle/ industrial batteries, loose rubble and plasterboard or gypsum-based items.

If the item you wish to put on a van is not in any of the above lists, please contact us for confirmation.
 *additional disposal fee applies
